"A Heartbeat From Hell...A Choice For Life" by Steve Mays tells the author's life story. At one point in his life, Steve Mays was desperate, hopeless, and sleeping in gutters. He was living with a group of guys twice his age, who were involved in motorcycle gangs. A .38-caliber bullet had penetrated his left leg. The authorities wanted Steve for questioning regarding a recent shooting. Then one day something happened; Steve became a new man. His whole life changed. Steve Mays has learned, and continues to learn to this day, that God has a wonderful plan and purpose for all people who choose life.
