Song of Solomon

James Durham is the author of "Song of Solomon," part of the Geneva Series. Here he relates that this wonderful book is to be understood as an allegory of the relationship between Christ and the believer. In his introduction he gives his reason for this position. He states that four things are necessary to understand the Song of Solomon: knowledge of the whole of scripture; a personal knowledge of ways of God with men’s heart; a well-disciplined and tender spirit; and fellowship with Christ in prayer for the illuminating power of the Holy Spirit.
