Trinity, The (Gallatin)

"The Trinity," by Pastor Bil Gallatin, covers an area in doctrine that is often attacked by Satan and the cults. In this meditation, we will search the Scriptures to find proof that the Trinity exists. The specific word ‘Trinity’ is not found in the Scriptures; however, based on Scriptural evidence, it has been acknowledged and accepted as truth throughout the history of the church. The doctrine of the Trinity is basically stated as the belief that God is essentially and equally God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Pastor Bil, quoted above, lays a Biblical foundation for the unity of the Godhead. Scriptures from Old and New Testaments reveal characteristics common to the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Pastor Bil says, "The Bible does not say that you can or must understand the Trinity. We are expected to accept it by faith. The Scriptures cause us to accept the Trinity, not try to explain it away.
