"Gipsy Smith" an autobiography on the life of Gipsy Rodney Smith. He never want to school for a day in his life, yet he influenced the lives of millions of people in the British Isles and North America. Young and old, rich and poor, educated and illiterate regarded him as their friend. One time British Prime Minister David Lloyd George said of him: "Should I ever be lost in the wilds of Western America or in the Australian bush, where they have never heard of British politicians, and I didn't know what to do, I would find the nearest squatter's or miner's hut, knock on the door and say: 'I am an old friend of Gipsy Smith!' "
