Dwight L.Moody: Committed Lfe "The Committed Life," by W.R. Moody, documents the life of Dwight L. Moody, the American evangelist who was born in 1837 and died in 1899. Moody did personal work with soldiers during the Civil War. After the war, he established churches and schools, started the Moody Bible Institue, and traveled in Europe and America holding campaigns. Moody personally dealt with over seven hundred and fifty thousand individuals. He preached to more than one hundred million people and had over one million first-time conversions to Jesus Christ.
