Hope of the Broken World CD

"Hope of the Broken World," by Selah, brings us a wonderful signature sound that gives you once again the Selah that we have come to know and love. The new album features solo tracks from each member of the group, (Amy "I Look to you," Todd "Moments" and Alan "Coat of Many Colors.") All these songs are drawn from each of their own personal life experiences. This CD also brings us various styles of music. "Shelter Me" (based on Psalm 91) is a fun song with country music feel. There is a great rendition of an old hymn "Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus," with a bonus of singing in African language. "On the Mountain" is an upbeat, catchy song. "Hope of the Broken World" is a soothing song about Jesus who is the Light and Hope of the World. All songs have great lyrics as well as encouraging messages.
